In these type of questions we given a directions which have changed may be by rotation of the sign board or by accidental placement of the sign board in wrong direction. The candidate has to make comparison of two maps between which one is definitely wrong. One has to find the correct direction in the wrong map by applying logical analysis. and then solve the questions
Illustration: At a crossing, there was a direction pole, which was showing all the four correct directions. But due to the wind, it turns in such a manner that now West pointer is showing South. Harish went in the wrong direction thinking that he was travelling East. In what direction he was actually travelling?
A. South B. North C. West D. East
Answer: B
Solution: As we know that the West pointer is pointing towards South the figure shows the wrong map and the correct map
From the figure we see that East in the Wrong map is Actually North in the Correct Map. Hence the Correct Option Is B, i.e., North.
Question : - If South - East becomes North, North-East becomes West and so on. What will West becomes ?
(1) South - East (2) North - East (3) North-West
(4) South (5) None of these
Answer : - (1) South -East
If North become northwest, Northeast become North, East become northeast, Southeast become East, and soon. What was northwest become ?
